MADELINE SMITH is a New York City-based music director, arranger, orchestrator, and conductor. Broadway credits include WAITRESS (Piano/Conductor sub) and WAR PAINT (Key 1 sub). Off-Broadway: AN OCTOROON (Theatre for a New Audience), RAGS PARKLAND (Ars Nova), SKIN OF OUR TEETH (Theatre for a New Audience), FUTURITY (Soho Rep/Ars Nova), 1001 NIGHTS (Atlantic Theater Company), THE LIGHT PRINCESS (New Victory Theater). Madeline recently adapted, arranged, and orchestrated FROZEN JR. and FROZEN KIDS for Disney. Regional music directing credits include: WE LIVE IN CAIRO (ART), LOCH NESS (ATF), NIKOLA TESLA DROPS THE BEAT (MTF, Playwrights Horizons, ATF). TV: THE WIZ! Live. Madeline serves as MD/conductor of the site-specific staging of RAGTIME ON ELLIS ISLAND. As a conductor for WAITRESS, Madeline is currently history’s youngest female Broadway conductor.
